So today started off good. Nick had to head out of town again and the girls seemed in good spirits. Until daddy left. I don't know why they feel that it is necessary in life to drive mommy bonkers with continual bickering and fighting (mostly on Livvy's end). Calli just can't get enough babying from mommy, and mommy gets enough of Calli wanting to be babied. And then the surprise of the day. It actually came in a unusual form, that is, in Livvy's pants. We have been potty training of the course of the last several weeks and she has done quite well, with the exception of poop. Yep! She will hold it until she can't contain it anymore and if you are not watching and aren't fast enough, too late. The whole #1 thing, fine, great....but for some odd reason she can't seem to force herself to do the #2 thing in the potty. One word....DISGUSTING. But moms will do what they have to do. I was so glad that I was on the phone with Alisha at the time or my cool would have blown right out the window. But now things are back to normal because Calli is down for a nap and Livvy is no longer threatened by her existence. Just 3 hours and 1 more day before Nick comes to my aid. He hates leaving and unfortunately, him being away is not going to end anytime in our new future. Goes with the job. But the fort is being held down. Now it is deciding what to make for dinner.
